I have always been a fan of Chris Brown until his “wife beating” habits came about to the public. So I wasn’t really passionate of Graffiti his album release after the incident. After listening to Graffiti I thought that the public was and IS still pretty harsh on the kid. Yes he beat his girlfriend and by far that is not what he should be doing period, But everyone deserves a second chance. Someones wrongs shouldn’t dictate who they are, but the changes they are trying to make should imprint what being a human is all about. We are all entitled to our mistakes but how we grow from it is what makes us whom we are as a person. Graffiti was by far one of the best albums lyrically Chris has had to offer, so when he was announcing he was releasing a mixtape on Valentines Day I was pretty much AMPED. After downloading it and listening to it, I have yet to stop playing it non stop. It is one of the most heavy rotated mixtapes on my ipod to date aside from Trey Songz Anticipation. I literally enjoy each and every track. Each track brings a new flavor to RnB, Hiphop/Pop, and Pop. His lyrics are fresh, comedic, sensual, and smooth. Vocally polished. If you are a fan of any of those genres just try it I promise you wont come out disappointed and will at least enjoy 1 track off of this mixtape. So if I haven’t said it enough on my twitter to download this, I think this should be convincing enough for you to do so.

The sneakers were made popular by Mr. Micheal Jordan himself, by wearing these sneakers in the film Space Jam. When these sneakers were first released with the film they were sold out. I have always been a fan of the Brooklyn native rapper Jay-Z. Every since I was a tween I use to always listen to Always Be My Sunshine, Jay-Z always brought top notch lyrics, with a theatrical display. His lyrics would take you on a journey with him through his struggle, fame, and success. When I first heard his debut single “D.O.A” (Death Of Auto-tune), I did not like it at all, His lyrics were superb but the instrumental was lacking. But after a couple of listens I understood what he was trying to bring about. Something so raw, something that needed no tweaking. Pure lyrics with simple instrumentals for you to understand the point that he is addressing. I couldn’t wait for his album! I have a New York City resident all my life and I was born to listen to Jay-Z because he is so New York. I have that New York City state of mind pride. After his album release, I gave it a listen and I was in awe. His lyrics are still tough, and raw. Beats go insane. This just blows my mind every time I listen to it. When listening to all his tracks it has a meaning and a message. Not that hip hop rap about nonsense. This album has received a lot of Hype but it lives up to it no doubt one of the best Jay-Z albums. For me I think Blueprint3 and The Black Album goes neck and neck on my top list. My Empire State of mind loves these tracks: What We Talking About?, Thank You, Empire State of mind, Real As it Gets, On To The Next One, Off That, Venus Vs Mars, Already Home, & So Ambitious. So if you haven’t had a chance to listen to Jay-Z’s album I really encourage you to give this a listen.

Billionaire Boys Club Jay-Z So Ambitious Tee-Shirts.
These T-Shirts are set to be released September 23rd at your local Billionaire Boys Club. These T-shirts were made to celebrate Jay-Z’s number one selling Album Blueprint3. The inspiration for the T-shirt “So Ambitious” was Pharrell’s produced track. This a great collaboration for Billionaire Boys Club because the brand always tries to exude to be aspirational. I would definitely make my way out there on Wednesday to get myself one because I am a very big fan of blueprint 3 and Billionaire Boys Club.

Autotune Technology
Audio impairing software. This type of software should not be available to Artist. Like Jay-Z said auto tune should be dead. It defeats the purpose of being a real artist. Using there real vocals to produce songs. If auto tune continues to excel any artist can pick it up and start singing and transforming there voice to some robot tone and make a song a hit on the radio. The originality of being an artist depletes. With these hard working artist using there vocals to make tracks are no long appreciated by the young generation because there songs don’t have that robot sound they are accustomed to. One artist that is heavy on the use of auto tune is T-Pain. Almost all his songs have auto tune on it, and it sounds robotic. If you listen to his voice live it sounds different from his studio recorded tracks because they have been impaired by auto tune. With the growth of technology any kindergarten kid can pick up a microphone and use auto tune to make a hit!

War Time

Lets wrap up the Iphone first. Iphone has a superb application library. You can pretty much find any app your looking for guaranteed in the app store. It is a very universal phone for multi-tasking email, messages, music, and mobile gaming. The Blackberry is very good phone for instant messaging, users who need an instant feedback on there messages this is probably one of the best phones for it, not to mention its email, and multi-tasking features that make the blackberry a hit in the smart phone market. The Android phone is good for those who just graduated from the sidekick world, not yet ready for a heavy smart phone but ready to journey out into the beginning of a smart phone.

For me personally I have used all the phones in the past. But my current phone is the Iphone. I first used the blackberry curve and what I really enjoyed about the blackberry was that I like the instant message clients on the phone. It is really well integrated with the whole os. You get instant feed back when your buddy is messaging you back. A big minus I came across my blackberry was its mail app. While it retrieved email perfectly. There was a problem, when I delete my emails from my blackberry, and log onto my email account online those deleted emails have to be removed again because the blackberry mail app does not send a message to the server that my email has been removed.  After my contract was over I moved on over to the Google Android G phone. It also is a very good instant message phone, and very good with handling Google apps such as gmail. When you delete an email from the Google mail application it sends it to the Google server and deletes the mail for you, when you log on online you do not need to remove the email again unlike the Blackberry mail app. The problem I had come across the Android phone was that it was very slow in some applications, and the battery would run with half a day left of tasks to complete on my device. So I realized that I should switch to Iphone and catch the buzz. I am a very big instant message user and I know that Iphone lacks the capability of being a great instant messaging device. When I first used the Iphone I was quickly fond of the idea of having every app imaginable in the palm of my hands. I also liked that the mail app sends information to and from the server. So all my deleted mails are deleted. Now that the Iphone has push notification the instant messaging is not so bad. The Iphone keyboard does take some getting use to but its a small adjustment for such a great multi-tasking phone. Now I have all my devices in one. Music, Phone, and Multi-tasking. In my opinion I think it is the best well rounded phone to have if you can bear the instant messaging. I no longer need to always stay connected via aim, and I am still very happy with my device.

A Bathing Ape “Point of No Return” (PONR) Shark Hoodie

A Bathing Ape will be RE releasing there famous shark hoodie in a track jacket material in Busy Work Shop NYC. Great for spring and fall weather. Japan, and London have already released these hoodies with a Teriyaki Boyz figurine. Busy Work Shop NYC and LA have not received the figurines yet so they are unable to release the hoodie’s. We the fans of Bape will be patiently waiting until then, please contact our local Busy Work Shop or check some resellers on the internet to get your hoodie.

Review
I was not really a big Kid Cudi fan except for his debut single “Day n Night”, until I gave his whole album a chance. Now I am purely addicted to this guy’s creative musicality. This album literally takes you on a journey to somewhere far, vast, and spacious. Every time I give this album a go I feel like I am flying with emotion that vibes along with musics mood. I don’t really need to understand Kid Cudi’s message in every song but feel the vibe, and with the vibe I understand his story his message to his listeners. With Common’s narrative voice the journey begins on to my favorite tracks. Sound Track to My Life, Simple as, Day N Night, Pursuit of Happiness, and Hyyerrr. Now I am one for creative and catchy beats, but Kid Cudi’s album is very unique. His beats are a touchdown in outer space. Almost every track gives me a vibe that I am literally that “Man on the moon”, and I truly believe that this was the main purpose of this album, to bring you to a place so unique and beyond the figment of your imagination where only music can bring you. If you haven’t given this album a chance please put it on rotation at least 2 times before you neglect it. You will miss out on the best flight in your life.
